Almanac 2017 (Arabic Edition)

The year 2017 was marked by significant events in Türkiye and across the globe, a year in which humanity faced great trials. With its people-centered approach to journalism, Anadolu Ajansı (AA) bore witness to numerous global developments and reported them with clarity and precision. In 2017, AA added Indonesian and Spanish to its publishing languages, becoming a truly global agency producing news in 13 languages.

Throughout 2017, AA conveyed developments at home and abroad through news reports, photographs, videos, and live broadcasts. With this almanac—published in three separate editions (Turkish, English, and Arabic)—AA offers a curated selection of those events, capturing the year’s most striking news stories and images, and once again setting a record in history.
