About Us

Anadolu Ajansı (AA) was established with the ideal of giving voice to the Turkish War of Independence and soon came to embody the role of the Reporter of the Republic. Today, with a global vision as the Reporter of a Changing World, AA continues to bear witness to history in the making.

Beyond its primary mission of journalism, AA has also been documenting history through its publications under the AA Kitap imprint as part of AA’s Publications Directorate, established in 2018. Driven by a vision of international engagement, AA Kitap introduces Türkiye’s rich cultural heritage, AA’s distinctive journalistic vision, and its media and communication expertise to a global audience.

AA Kitap showcases publications that draw on Anadolu Ajansı’s century-long legacy in journalism. These works offer in-depth perspectives on the pivotal events, political milestones, cultural shifts, and social transformations that have shaped Türkiye from the founding of the Republic to the present day. The imprint’s growing collection also includes titles that shed light on the country’s political, social, cultural, and economic history.
